I have been blogging since 2004. Over time, I have developed relationships with a few other bloggers. Most of them are United Methodist bloggers that are part of a community known as the Methodist Blogosphere. My favorite blogger from day one has been John the Methodist. His blog about "Faith, Art, Rabbits, and Zombies" has become one of the most popular blogs in the Methodist Blogosphere. If you ever hear about a zombie movement within the UMC, you can attribute it to John.

On his blog, he informed everyone that he is no longer a candidate for the ordained ministry in the United Methodist Church. There has been a battle going on for quite a while, and it finally came to an end.

If John does decide to share the details of what has gone on, it will be hard not to take his allegations seriously. He has a lot of friends in the blogging community, and even though we have not personally met, I consider myself one of them. As Shane at the Wesley Report states, "John isn't some disgruntled blogger with an ax to grind... he's been around for a long time."
